Do you ever find yourself adding �erific� to the ends of words? I do � probably more than I should. It�s not uncommon for me to say things like, �Justin, that tunafish sandwich you are eating smells super asserific� or �mmmm, this apple I�m eating tastes applerific.� I�m not sure when, where, or how this started but it has. Stephanie has been diligently studying for her upcoming GRE (everyone please pause for a moment to send happy thoughts her way) and we frequently end up discussing words from her vocabulary study list. We talk about the words as a way to help her study and as a way to quiz me to see if my brain is still active now that I�m no longer a student. One day the word �soporific� came up and we both decided that we liked this word because it SOUNDS like a fun made up word, but it�s not. That�s right ladies and gentlemen - it�s an actual word with an actual definition. The adjective form of the definition describes today�s entry pretty accurately and perhaps �soporific� should have been today�s title�
