My apologies for being such a slacker (again) with this thing but I just cant help it. Its really hard to get motivated to spend extra time at the computer to update this when I have increased access to my precious Justin. You see, hes on winter break right now which means we get to stay up late, start our day at 3pm, and then do absolutely nothing if thats what we feel like doing its fantastic! The only downside to this is that I get REALLY spoiled VERY quickly so when the time comes to send him back to campus at 8am five days per week I know Im going to feel sad as I adjust back to a normal schedule. Lets seewhat have we been up to. Well we went to Askov (pronounced ass-cove) for the 24th and stayed overnight there with my grandparents. Im quite convinced that I have THE coolest grandparents in the world and I dare any of you to challenge me on this one :-P The highlight of this adventure (outside of spending time with my grandparents) was looking at old photographs. For the first time in my 23 years I have FINALLY seen pictures of my now deceased great-grandparents. Ive asked to see these pictures on numerous occasions but was always told, oh theyre stashed away some place maybe next timeHOWEVER, all Justin had to do was say, Id love to see them and suddenly (despite the fact that it was 11pm) not one, but BOTH of my grandparents were running all over the house both upstairs and downstairs trying to find any photos they could just to show him. Seeeeeeee, I TOLD you my family likes Justin more than they like me! The low point of this excursion was the receiving of four, count em, FOUR porcelain kitten ornaments complete with golden halos and feathery angel wings. What the FUCK am I supposed to do with these?!? Im not interested in collecting kitty paraphernalia, I dont believe in angels, and I certainly dont celebrate any holiday that requires me to have a dead tree in the middle of my living room!! I checked around on the interweb and discovered that these things cost around $40 give or takeI believe Im going to try and sell them on eBay or something unless one of you wants to buy em Ill give yall first dibs because youre special. Yesterday was holiday time in Wrenshallmy mom made six or seven pizzas, salad, veggies, and two dessert pizzas for eight people. Needless to say we brought extra slices home with us that turned into last nights supper and this mornings breakfastmmmmmmm pizza!! What else Justins still painting and steadily coming up with new approaches/ideasIve attempted one small canvas myself which I believed was a failure so I hid it under our bed for about a week. I took it out last night and it turns out that Justin loves it or at least SAYS he does. I was contemplating painting over it with something else but he convinced me to leave it as is and to try what ever I want to try on a new canvas. Well see how motivated I get with that one Anywhoozle, I hope youre enjoying whatever it is youve been up to and will be up to this holiday season and I think my New Years resolution will be the following: I resolve to be less lame and more frequent with my journal entries! P.S. Jane moved to New Jersey yesterday (by car) and should be arriving in her new life sometime today. I havent seen her in awhile so I miss her and now that shes ever further away I miss her even more
