I'm have to conserve my engery today because I've got a full day of house cleaning and laundry to do...this means that today's entry comes not from me, but from the great mind of my beloved:
Biology Relationship Psychology
Justin Henry Rubin
The most dangerous thing to do in courting a mate is to alter oneself in any way so that they become more attractive, and 'fit' what one presumes are the requirements of the other. This can be in terms of changing what one likes, what one believes, how someone acts or dresses or speaks, or any other manner of distortion in order to seem more of a match. The analogy that I like to use is to act like an antibody, changing itself to get a hold of the new body in the bloodstream, because most likely all one is going to cling to is a virus. One must instead act normal, and appear as they actually are, in effect to be like an enzyme waiting for that one protein that it can harmonize with naturally. Only this way can the two of you together give rise to healthy and positive results.
Isn't he great? :-)
