Im sure most of you know someone who at some point during their childhood took a pair of scissors to their own hair. Perhaps you are one of these someones and your mother has horror stories about months of desperate attempts to keep the damage you inflicted as camouflaged as possible. Im not a psychologist by any means but I did go to college and I did minor in psychology and most people agree that this act is a plea for attention. The ol self-haircut thing is often something children do - in fact, I EXPECT children to do this. However, what I do NOT expect is to find that my turning-32-tomorrow-fianc to have done this very same thing THIS MORNING!!! My still sleepy Justin was trying to comb his hair for work this morning and had a lock of hair that was being a little too rebellious and simply wouldnt do anything other than stick straight up off of his head. Sure most of us, myself included, have snipped off a little bit of hair that just wouldnt cooperate but Im pretty sure we just cut off the defiant part and left the rest as it alone...not my Justin, he goes right to the root of the problem literally. Thats right folks, he took the scissors to his own hair and cut right next to his scalp leaving a tiny bald-ish square patch of nothing but stubble. Im soooooo glad he decided to do this 17 days before our wedding its a good thing the patch is small and easily hidden. Here, take a look at his handiwork: I could probably write more about this but I think I've said enough and I should probably get back to Justin before he does something else he shouldn't be doing. You know what? I now take what they say as truth - men really are just little boys in big bodies...
