Yesterday Justin had one of his drive-five-hours-for-a-two-hour-meeting thingies and I went along as I often do. I like to go because I can keep him company in the car and besdies, how often do we get to spend any entire weekday together? We had lunch at a Japanese restaurant called Kikugawa - http://www.kikugawa-sushi.com if you're interested. We all know that Erica has a very limited palate so I went in expecting to watch Justin eat lunch. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find chicken teriyaki on the menu so I ordered that and ate most of it with chopsticks so yeah me! I still watched Justin eat though because I couldn't believe what he was eating! He started with miso soup which looked safe enough until I saw the tofu in it which looked like little white blocks of plastic. Then he had beef negimaki which actually looked edible, but then the sushi platter arrived. What the fuck is up with sushi anyway? I don't eat anything that lives in water but if I did I guarantee you that it would be cooked! I had a great time though as it's always good to get out of Duluth even if it's only for a day and while Justin was in his meeting I was able to finish reading Rosemary Clooney's autobiography - good stuff...
