When I was a kid I had dolls and I think I liked them a little TOO much. I had a Cabbage Patch Doll and treated her as if she were an actual baby. I�m talking about things like nap time in a crib, snowsuits in the winter, and strapping her into a car seat whenever we went somewhere. These activities are just the extremes of normal doll play for little girls so I don�t feel bad about it at all. However, me and my Barbies were a COMPLETELY different story. I never actually play-played with them. My Barbie time was split between two activities. The first being the preparation which consisted of things like washing/styling hair and setting up elaborate stages like a tropical island hut complete with things like a waterbed made out of a Ziplock bag. The second was the REAL reason girls play with Barbies... |
