diet, exercise, dinner, and 200 days

The downside of this who dieting thing is that I don�t get to eat. I miss food. The upside to this diet is that I�m already down 3.8 pounds from Friday. What this means is that I only have another 6.2-11.2 pounds to get rid of between now and the end of January � I use the term �only� loosely as losing 10% of one�s body weight is no easy task! The exercising part hasn�t been so bad as, thanks to yoga and free weights, I�m not COMPLTELY outta shape or anything � just need to do something more aerobic to get the heart rate up. I know what you�re thinking and the answer is no. Sex does NOT count as my �aerobic exercise.� :-P The doctor said I didn�t have to go all crazy and join a gym or start running or anything, just a brisk 20-minute walk three times per week. Normally this wouldn�t be a problem but I live in northern Minnesota which means that during the day the temperature has been somewhere around the range of 7 degrees � that�s right, SEVEN! What THIS means is that today I put on my sneakers and took (for the second time) about 85 zillion laps around the inside of my apartment. If I had a penis I�d be better able to estimate the length of the loop I was walking but alas, I do not so I have no idea. What I DO know is that every 7 seconds for that whole 20 minutes I was in my kitchen. If it�s nice tomorrow (as if that happens, it won�t be nice again here until late July) maybe I�ll take my walk outside but if it�s not maybe I�ll give myself some variety by dancing like a maniac in my living room for 20 minutes. Speaking of tomorrow... Tomorrow my sister (yeah!) and parents (boooo!) are coming over for dinner. Tomorrow also marks the 200th day that my husband and I have been married. TWO HUNDRED DAYS!! Can you believe it?!? I love my husband...
