My sister just might be a genius. We spent yesterday afternoon shopping and running errands and even had a little lunch date - something we used to do a few times per month but I really think it had been at least two months since weve had one of our days out. She works more hours in the summer than she does in the non-summer so shes a busy busy girl and its often difficult to get more than five minutes of her time. Anyway, while we were in Target I told her that we needed to head to the area where the cleaning stuff is because my stash of cleaning products needed to be restocked and I also need a new mop and a new broom (exciting stuff, I know). So as we were looking around to see what I wanted/needed she pointed to a shelf full of pretty bottles that looked like they belonged in Bath & Body Works, not the cleaning aisle at Target. After reading the bottles and smelling the contents I promptly filled my cart with them. I was in love with the things before I even got them home - and their website? Too much fun! They make cleaning look fun and sexy - if you read through the site youll find lines like this: It's time for a "fling cleaning." Method cleaners are gentle on you and your loved ones. So feel free to peel off those rubber gloves. Unbutton your shirt. And while you're at it, undo a couple of buttons on your partner's shirt. It's all in the name of good, clean fun. How fun is that? You see, Method prides itself on being non-toxic, biodegradeable, naturally derived, and never tested on animals so that means its safe to touch. I finally tested it out on my kitchen counters, stove, bathroom counters, and sink - I, even with my ubersensitive hands, braved it without gloves and was perfectly fine afterwards. The solutions are really gentle and smell nice but barely smell so you can spray as much as you want and not be overpowered by the smell of french lavender or whatever scent youve purchased - I LOVE EM! In other news, heres part two of Princess (heres part one if you missed it from my last slice) and if you know what the fuck this is Id love to have it explained to me... |
