these neighbors

So we have these neighbors. By neighbors I mean people who live down on the next street but youd never know they were that far away based on how well we hear 90% of their conversations. Even when these neighbors are not yelling it still sounds like they are as their natural speaking voices seem to be 10x louder than those of most people. If I didnt know any better Id think these neighbors actually lived in my house. These neighbors seem oblivious to the fact that the 4th of July is over. These neighbors seem not to be aware that today is actually July 12th. These neighbors also seem not to notice that every time they light off a round of fucking fire crackers (4-5 times per day) that their two not-in-school-yet-aged children cry and wail because they dont like and/or are afraid of the noise. So we have these neighbors and they bother me. In other news I watched the first two episodes of I Love The 90s tonight and had a good time all by myself. My poor husband tried to watch a little bit but was in college sans television for the first few years of that decade so he didnt really know what was going on. Believe it or not he actually had no idea who MC Hammer was and had never even heard the name until just a couple of hours ago when he saw a clip on the show - we should all be so lucky.
And seriously, if I have to see or hear one more thing about Jamie Cullum (a commercial for his CD was on during almost every break of my show - as if I didnt hate him enough already?) Im going to...well,I dunno what Ill do really as its bound to happen what with him having a solid fan base of sheeple (thats sheep + people for those of you slower minded readers). He makes me angry - almost as angry as these neighbors... |
