Yesterday was an unusually full day for the husband and myself. Earlier in the week we planned Saturday to be a "date day" and after we had that in place we got invited to dinner at another professors house for that evening. This other professor is, like my husband, a big fan of sushi Earlier in the day we went out for some pizza and had to pick up the aforementioned raw fish. After our romantic lunch and raw fish-gettin we made a quick stop at home to put the fish away and then headed off to the new theatre in town (for the first time) to see a movie. It was pretty alright and had a few scenes that were definitely laugh-out-loud funny but I dunno what all the hype is about. Seriously, WHY is it getting nominated for so many awards? What am I missing? The husband and I rated it 3 outta 5 stars and decided that it is worth seeing but if you dont, its no real loss. Today was a little less interesting but I, as always, have fun doing ANYTHING that involves being near the husband :-) We decided to hit the bookstore just to be outta the house for a bit and I left the husband in there just long enough to pick up a new pair of pumps and some toothpaste before rejoining him for some reading time. After that I had some ice cream (shhhhhh) and then we headed for home. I honestly dont think we were out for more than 2 hours from door to door but it was nice just to be out - especially since it was actually 34 degrees ABOVE zero for a change... |
