change, laundry, and habitat

If youve been to my blog between 10:30pm CST on Wednesday night and now you may have noticed some changes. Im too pissed off to talk about these changes right now (and I probably wont anyway unless you know me personally outside of here) but for those of you who saw the left hand side of my screen morph a few times into what you see now you probably have a general understanding of what happened.
Those of you who live under a rock and are unfamiliar with Flickr, it's a GREAT site! I'll now be (randomly) displaying photos to your left so feel free to click around on them or hit "refresh" to see what pops up next. I'm gonna try to keep adding photos to the gallery on at least a semi-regular basis too so hopefully you won't have to look at the same five photos every time you come here :-)
ANYWAY...not too much going on around here - especially today. The husband is off doing some work at school and then has a gig later this evening. Im sure hes having a much better time with that than I am with all the laundry Im doing. How two people (one of whom refuses to wear clothes unless hes leaving the house and he only does that due to legal reasons) amass so much laundry in just a weeks time Ill never know. I realize that towels, sheets, and other bedding makes up a bulk of it but seriously - I just did laundry last week and Ive already done SEVEN, count em, SEVEN loads today!
The husbands spring break is coming to end so I only get him for another two days before having to send him back to school. Thank goodness he only has 30 work days left before starting his unbelievable 256 days off :-)
In other news, our current lease is up on May 31st and were looking for a larger more accommodating space to move into. We have an appointment to look at a place on Friday and Im already in love with it (on paper at least) and would have moved in yesterday. However, the husband already hates it and is only going to see it because I made the appointment and I don't drive. Hopefully we'll find a place because we cant live here anymore and I dont really want to be homeless... |
