How the hell did it get to be February already? Not that Im complaining - each passing day gets me that much closer to snowless streets and liveable temperatures. I was ready for summer about six weeks ago! And speaking of six weeks, Happy Groundhogs Day! And that freaky little rodent better tell me what I wanna hear! But how could he not? Last night at MIDNIGHT here in NORTHERN MINNESOTA it was FORTY DEGREES...ABOVE ZERO!! Surely this means things will soon be thawing and I can break out the open-toed shoes! In other news, Ray arrived yesterday via Netflix and Im so excited to see it again! My sister, unfortunately, never got to see it in the theatre so Im saving the DVD until tomorrow when she can come over and watch it with me. Theres supposedly a second-run theatre opening here this spring so maybe theyll be showing it and she and I can go see it again...on the big screen...with the big sound...we shall see! Also, I just so happen to have 50 Gmail invites so if you (or someone you know) should happen to need or want one, just send me an email. Just realize that your message will get to me about 24 hours AFTER you send it so be patient. And if youre requesting that the invite be sent to Hotmail et al be sure to (temporarily) ease up on your junk mail filter. Email systems that are not Gmail try to keep you from getting Gmail because they know its better than they are and that once you start using Gmail youll never go back... |
